Grain to Glass

Our beers are malt forward.  How else could they be when we operate a malt house.  We want to bring attention to malt, which is often overshadowed by its puny cousin hops.  We have two core beers, Malt House Ale & Rye's Up Pale Ale, and several occasional beers.

Our Malt House Ale is our maltiest beer.  It is made from equal parts of our Two Row, Vienna & Munich malts.  It is very lightly hopped, resulting in a full bodied bready finish.

Our Rye's Up Pale Ale is a very special beer.  All of the grains used in the malts of this beer were grown in the Maritimes.  Rye's Up contains three malts; Two Row (barley), Wheat & Rye.  The barley and the wheat are from PEI, and the rye was grown next door to the malt house.

Other beers are brewed throughout the year including: Island Wheat (80% PEI grown wheat), Afternoon Tea (wheat based beer finished on Asmin Bonanga Rooibas tea from Just Us!), Roggenbier (75% of our own rye), and Beer of Fundy (all grains and hops grown near the shores of the Bay of Fundy).

Our beers can be enjoyed on tap in our tasting room or patio which overlook our rye fields, or taken home in a refillable growler. Bottles and cans of our specialty beers or collaboration beers are also available occasionally, while supplies last.
